Richard has been involved with art and design as long as he can remember. With both parents having careers and backgrounds in textile design, it was no surprise Richard followed a creative route. Soon after graduating in 2011 with a BA in Fine Art, Richard joined his father’s studio, finding immediate satisfaction in design and business. The design studio, Haley Studios Ltd, has since gone from strength to strength. With each new family member entering the fold, Richard’s father Geoff has invested time into passing on his valuable design training (which spans back to the 1900’s) onto Richard, his sister Rebecca and wife Anna, allowing them to develop a mature understanding of the principles and mechanisms of design. With this foundation, Richard has the ability to create unique and original designs across varying styles, whilst always striving for beaut.
