Since graduating Tara has worked as a freelance textile designer, creating designs for both high street ladies’ fashion and digitally printed wallpapers. Her work shows a highly detailed hand drawn style, aiming to push the boundaries of typical interior design. Tara is inspired by nature and animals and brought both these elements together within the wallpaper design ‘Monkey Business’, which explores how celebrity culture and social media affect the pet industry. ‘Monkey business’ focuses on a group of domesticated monkeys within delicate foliage illustrations.
